Background
Carlsberg is the official sponsor to the Swedish National teams. As an official partner, they recognize that football is so much more than just the 90 minutes of game tme. It's a celebration of unity that makes football the best sport in the world. So to celebrate the way Carlsberg do best — the mission was simple. Create a limited edition design that could help show their support, but also help make the upcoming Womens World Cup in Switzerland a time to rally around our national team.
Insight / idea
The Carlsberg limited edition can transformed the otherwise classic green — to a bold blue and yellow design. With a dynamic and distorted checked pattern inspired by the dynamic visuals of flags and tifo-culture, helped the product to really stand out on the shelves. A subtle circular ripple pattern, extruding from the hop-leaf in the carlsberg logo — mimics the texture of the Swedish home kit and added a tactile feeling to it.
